Westbrook, CT., July, 2004— A Grant of $6,030 from the Westbrook Foundation enabled the construction of a new playscape at the town’s West Beach.
The multifaceted playscape was ready for this summer’s beach season, according to John Hall, III, Foundation president. “It has replaced a wooden structure, and allows children to now enjoy a greater variety of play activities in a safe, maintenance free environment”. It was built by Childscape Company.
