Press release

Twice a year, in the spring and the fall, the Westbrook Foundation awards grants to nonprofit, non-political organizations whose work supports and enhances the well-being and safety of the residents of Westbrook.

During its fall 2021 grants cycle, the Foundation awarded $30,450 to seven organizations representing a range of stakeholders and types of service.

Grant applicants are encouraged to collaborate with other nonprofits or units of local government to explore solutions or solve problems that will make a difference in the Westbrook community

“The Foundation’s grant program promotes the creation of networks, coalitions, and shared services that help to strengthen the well-being and safety of Westbrook residents,” said Foundation Grants Chair An-Ming Truxes. “It is our privilege to foster this community building service to the town, just as it is our honor to be able to financially support worthwhile efforts that enrich residents’ lives in so many different ways.”
