Westbrook Foundation Awards $170,900 in Scholarships to Members of the Class of 2021

In June, the Westbrook Foundation awarded scholarships totaling $170,900 to the town’s graduating high school seniors to support their post-secondary educational pursuits. The Foundation also awarded $7,000 in scholarships to Westbrook residents currently enrolled in college and graduate programs and administered $4,000 in scholarships for the Westbrook Education Association.
“The Westbrook Foundation is proud and honored to recognize our town’s young people with scholarships. We hope our financial support helps to ease the burden of the significant price tag on post-secondary education, and we wish all of the scholarship recipients the best of luck as they move into the next phase of their lives,” said Westbrook Foundation Scholarship Chair Joan Angelini.
The following members of the Westbrook High School Class of 2021 received the Foundation’s most competitive scholarships, totaling $115,000:

Michael Cox: Barbara Spencer Memorial Scholarship Academic Achievement Award
